From the 3rd–5th of February 2026, the Convert team exhibited at the Southern Manufacturing and Electronics Show, held at the Farnborough International Exhibition Centre, marking a strong start to the year for the team.
As one of the UK’s most established industrial trade events, the show brought together innovators, engineers, and procurement specialists from across the manufacturing and electronics sectors. For Convert, it provided an opportunity not only to showcase our capabilities, but also to demonstrate the culture, expertise and collaborative approach that define how we work.
Preparation for the event started long before the doors opened. Initial stand concepts and messaging were developed early, followed by product selection, logistics and pre-show outreach. Teams across sales, operations, marketing, and technical specialists worked together with one clear objective: to create a presence that reflected Convert’s quality, precision and forward-thinking approach.
The result was a stand that made an impression– clean, confident, and technically focused– designed to spark meaningful conversations. Across the three days, the effort paid off as we welcomed a significant number of walk-in visitors alongside scheduled meetings, leading to valuable discussions with both new prospects and existing partners.
What made the event particularly rewarding was the team spirit behind it. There was a strong sense of shared ownership across the business in the lead-up to the show, from preparing materials and refining messaging to ensuring every detail was right. On the day, that preparation translated into confident conversations, seamless collaboration, and a unified presence on the stand.
Events like Southern Manufacturing highlight what sets Convert apart: technical expertise, commercial understanding, and a genuine commitment to solving customer challenges. Seeing that approach resonate with visitors was something the entire team could take pride in.
Over the course of the event, the team engaged with manufacturers and engineering organisations seeking dependable wiring, cable, and connectivity solutions- companies that prioritise quality, responsiveness, and long-term partnership. Many of those conversations are already progressing into follow-up meetings, technical consultations, and new project opportunities, which, for Convert, are the true measure of success.
With strong momentum coming out of Farnborough, planning is already underway for our next exhibition.

Our next event will be the Drives and Controls Show at the NEC Birmingham, taking place from the 3rd–4th June 2026.
